DJBILBOX BEATS —
Beatmaker in Toulouse
I am a beatmaker and music producer based in Toulouse, France. I write instrumentals for rappers and singers across hip-hop, trap, drill, afrotrap, G-funk, deep house and oriental music — and when a plug-in I need does not exist, I code it myself.
How I work
Every beat starts in FL Studio and stays there through arrangement and mix, so what you hear in the preview is what you get in the file. Drums are layered by hand rather than pulled from a preset chain, and each track is mixed to sit correctly under a vocal instead of being mastered loud and left flat.
Oriental production is the part I am known for. Rather than approximating maqam scales on a western keyboard, I sample real oud, qanun, ney and darbuka and tune them in quarter tones — the same engine I later turned into a plug-in.

Beatmaker and developer
Alongside production I work as a developer — HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python, and C++ with the JUCE framework for audio. That combination is why this site sells plug-ins I wrote rather than resold: ORIENTAL INSTRUMENT, BIGBASS, VICE CITY, MATRIX MODULAR, MASTERING, MPC 2026 and the free NEON SYNTH 80s all come from problems I hit in my own sessions.
I also stream beat-making live on Twitch and publish production videos on YouTube, so you can watch how a beat is actually built before you buy one.
Questions
What does a beatmaker do?
A beatmaker composes and produces the instrumental a song is built on — drums, bass, melody, arrangement and mix. Here every beat is written in FL Studio, mixed in-house, and delivered as MP3, WAV or stems depending on the licence.
Can I use these beats for free?
Yes. More than 1000 instrumentals are free for profit: release them on streaming platforms as long as you credit DJBILBOX BEATS. Paid leases drop the credit requirement and add WAV files and track stems.
Which genres do you produce?
Mainly hip-hop, trap, drill, afrotrap, G-funk, deep house and oriental. The oriental side uses real maqam quarter-tone tuning, not a western-scale approximation.
Do you make custom beats?
Yes. Custom production and exclusive rights are available on request — by email at djbilboxbeats@gmail.com or through the Discord server.
